Lyle Mussetter

Lyle Mussetter of Kingston died July 15, 2007 in Bremerton. He was 91.

Mussetter was born to John Lee and Lillie (Larson) Mussetter in Stanford, Mont. on Dec. 17, 1915.

He owned Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home in Yakima.

Mussetter enjoyed golf, hunting and teaching classes for the Red Cross. He was active in the AIFI Temple, Masonic Lodge No. 24, Elks Lodge 318, Scottish Rite, Franklin Lodge No. 5, Lyons Club and Liberty Bay Presbyterian Church.

Mussetter is survived by his wife Hazel; daughters Rebecca Lee Swanson of Shelton and Linda Kay Hill of Yakima ; his stepson Robert G. Miller of Edmonds; his stepdaughter Marilyn Szczepaniak of Seattle; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mussetter was preceded in death by his brothers Lee and Vern, and his granddaughter.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. and services will be at 11 a.m. on July 21 at Liberty Bay Presbyterian Church. There will be a private entombment at Acacia Memorial Park.
