Lucille McClellan

Lucille G. McClellan of Bremerton died at her home Dec. 18, 2006, at the age of 82.

Mrs. McClellan was born Nov. 15, 1924, in Moore, Mont., to Voyle and Martha (Waaga) David. In 1931 the family moved to Kitsap County where Mrs. McClellan graduated from Silverdale High School in 1941.

During World War II she worked at Keyport and then after war’s end went to work as a stuffer at the Kitsap Sun where she retired from in 1978.

Mrs. McClellan was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Bremerton who enjoyed golfing, traveling and gardening. She married Earl W. McClellan on Oct. 26, 1946, in Bremerton. He preceded her in death in 1983.

Mrs. McClellan is survived by her sons David (Linda) and Greg (Nancy) McClellan, both of Bremerton; daughters Joyce (Larry) O’Neal of Cathlamet, Wash., LuAnn (Jim) Rosedale of Bremerton; sister Eldene Collins of Centralia, Wash; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services are planned for 1 p.m. today, Dec. 23, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, followed by interment at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.
