James Eugene Ragsdale was born in 1932 in Colfax, WA and passed away peacefully on April 10, 2019 in Port Orchard, WA.

He served as a Corporal E2 in the 88th Infantry Division in the US Army from 1950-1953. He was also an original crew member and plank owner at the Polaris Missile Facility Pacific, and retired from Keyport, completing 21 years of Federal service.

He is survived by his wife Beatrice and his daughter Becky of Bremerton. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Edwina Ragsdale, brothers Carlisle and Robert, sister Marilyn and son James H. Ragsdale.

Jim will be remembered for his talent at creating topiary trees and shrubs throughout his neighborhood, and his attention to detail in building models.
