J. Dell Bradley Dixon, 91

J. Dell Bradley Dixon of Poulsbo died Feb. 15, 2007 in Silverdale. He was 91.

Dixon was born to Joseph A. Dixon and Ada M. (Cook) Dixon in Buffalo, N.Y. on July 5, 1915.

He married Betty (Schneider) Dixon.

Dixon graduated from Tri-State University in Angola, Ind.

He worked at Colonial Radio, American Optical, Bell Aircraft, Boeing Air Co., Arinc Research Corp., TRW, Gould, Inc. and at Keyport NTS.

Dixon enjoyed golf, bowling, rock polishing and fishing at Ross Lake in the North Cascades.

Dixon is survived by his wife Betty (Schneider) Dixon; his son Alan (Hattie) Dixon; his stepsons Lewis (Ann) Gustavel and Gary Gustavel; his daughters Wendy (Bob) Dixon and Cynthia (Bob) Dixon; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Dixon was preceded in death by his brother D. Scott Dixon.

A celebration of Dixon’s life will be at a later date.
