A Gale Warning is disrupting service on the Lofall-South Point water shuttle route across the Hood Canal, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The Hood Canal Bridge is currently closed.

Ferries scheduled to run across the canal between 4 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. today are cancelled, as are their connecting transit runs.

The DOT will reevaluate hourly until the shuttle service can resume. Commuters are advised to check 5-1-1 for updates.
