Officials with the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office announced that investigators had concluded their search without having found the Bremerton teenager reported missing in the early morning on Jan. 29.

In a press release sent out just before 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, officials with the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office stated that detectives believe that Hevi Muhaz Tahir, 17, entered the water on Monday. Evidence from the investigation indicates no foul play in her disappearance the release said.

The sheriff’s office said it does not anticipate any further search efforts, however, the investigation into the teen’s dissappearance remains open. Anyone with information related to the disappearance are encouraged to call detective Krista Kleinfelder at 360-337-7117.
