PORT GAMBLE — Port Gamble S’Klallam Elder Ted George will be honored with the creation of the annual Theodore “Ted” George Legacy Award during a ceremony at the Point Casino Event Center on Saturday, July 14 at 2 p.m.

George’s numerous accomplishments and advocacy for Native rights will be commended during the ceremony, open to the S’Klallam community and invited guests on Saturday. The event will include dinner, guest speakers and a performance by S’Klallam Singers.

Children are welcome but must stay accompanied by an adult and remain within the event center.
