A windstorm this afternoon caused all types of problems all over Kitsap County.

On Bainbridge Island, North Madison Avenue was closed because of a tree falling down on multiple utility wires.

Motorists were advised to take alternate routes and avoid Madison between NE Day Road East and NE Torvanger Road.

In Central Kitsap, Robinson Road NE was closed at the intersection with Perry Avenue NE, also because of a downed tree and wires.

In South Kitsap, Glenwood Road SW was closed at the intersection with SW Lasso Drive because of a downed tree with wires involved.

Also in South Kitsap, SE Fragaria Road is closed between Hooligan Place SE and Orchard Avenue SE, also because of a tree falling down on wires.

All of the roads will reopen once county crews find it safe to do so. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
