Santa plans busy schedule in Kitsap

As you can imagine, December is a busy month for Santa. Between making lists and checking them twice, he squeezes in time to see those who are dear to him. Here’s where you can visit with the big man in the red suit.

Bainbridge Island: Photographer Nick Felkey will take photos with Santa from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Dec. 11 and 18 at Columbia Bank, Winslow Way. Bring a can of food or cash donation to benefit Helpline House. Info: www.bainbridgedowntown.org.

Hansville: Christmas Concert and Children’s Party from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Dec. 19 at the Greater Hansville Community Center. The event features Santa and the Home Town Band. Santa arrives early to provide the children the chance to express their Christmas wishes and to give each a goodie bag of treats.

Kingston: Santa Breakfast and photos from 8:30-11:30 am on December 11, at Wolfe Elementary, 27089 Highland Road NE.

Santa will be at the Oak Table Restaurant from 4:30-6:30 pm on Dec. 12, 11171 NE Highway 104. No cost for photos.

Port Gamble: Hayrides with Santa at Port Gamble Country Christmas, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Dec. 11, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Dec. 12.

South Kitsap: The Sunnyslope Improvement Association will host its annual Children’s Christmas Party from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. on Dec. 11 at 5830 Old Clifton Road in Port Orchard. The event includes a pancake breakfast with Santa as well as kids crafts and activities. Please bring a canned food donation for South Kitsap Helpline.

Santa’s Cozy Cottage: Delilah’s Cozy Kitchin, 150 Harrison Ave., Port Orchard, hosts Santa throughout the holidays. Two 30-foot long murals of holiday scenes makes it a picturesque place for children to have their photos taken with Santa. All proceeds benefit foster children who are helped by Point Hope. Santa’s mailbox is outside of the Cozy Kitchin from now until Christmas. If a child leaves a letter with a return address, Santa or one of his elves will answer it.
