Annie: Beloved orphan makes good at Bainbridge Performing Arts

Everyone’s favorite red-headed orphan is back on stage for the Bainbridge Performing Arts production of “Annie.”

Anna Banyas stars in the lead role as little orphan Annie. Charismatic Annie is placed in the lap of luxury for a week as a part of a publicity campaign for the wealthy Oliver Warbucks, played by Joseph Fountain. Annie’s stay turns out to be much more than anyone bargained for as she charms and sings her way into everyone’s hearts. Expect lots of singing from raggedy yet adorable orphans, as well as numbers from the frazzled and distressed Miss Hannigan (Lisa Wiggins). An adorable canine rounds out the troupe, directed by Steven Fogell and Gabe Carbajal.
