Steven Recalma of Kwumetlelum sent us the above photos on July 27 from the 2016 Canoe Journey/Paddle to Nisqually.

Seventy-one Northwest Coast Native canoes left Suquamish on July 27 for Alki Beach. From there, canoes continue to Puyallup on July 28, Oddfellows Park in Olympia on July 29, and Nisqually on July 30 for a week of celebration.

Here above, two photos submitted from Arianna Lauren of the Swinomish Canoe Family pull form Alki Beach to Puyallup on June 28.

The Canoe Journey will make its final landing in Swantown on July 28.

Continue to follow their journey as we receive more submissions.
