The Bremerton Police Department confirmed the death of a resident in a trailer fire in west Bremerton in a Jan. 30 news release.

Officials were called to the Stagecoach Mobile and RV Park off Kitsap Way on reports of a camper trailer having caught on fire. Fire personnel worked quickly to extinguish what the release noted was “a significant fire.”

A deceased victim was found inside the trailer. The cause of the fire was not disclosed, and the investigation continues.
