PORT GAMBLE — After 100 years, the women of the Order of the Eastern Star Priscilla Chapter No. 96 celebrated their charity work and their pride Tuesday evening by sharing stories, music and laughter — as they have for the past century.
Since June 1907, the Port Gamble group, along with the Masons, have been operating out of the Masonic Lodge and building their own community group within the town.

POULSBO — With less than six months until Poulsbo marks 100 years of self-governance, city officials, community leaders and other civic-minded volunteers are busy making plans for a yearlong celebration.
POULSBO — The arduous journey toward the adoption of the city of Poulsbo’s Critical Areas Ordinance is nearing its end as the final public hearing on the environmental regulations is set for June 20.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m. in the city council chambers in city hall on Jensen Way. The proposed ordinance can be found on the city’s Web site, www.cityofpoulsbo.com.
KINGSTON — Kingston Junior High School art instructor James Andrews expected a good turnout for the June 6 North Kitsap School District Festival of the Arts.

POULSBO — North Kitsap High School pottery teacher Randelisle Anderson was constantly in motion, walking through Classroom 505 as she carefully graded pottery students’ teapot final project Thursday afternoon.
