Kitsap County goes five days without any new cases of COVID-19

No new cases of COVID-19 have been reported by the Kitsap Public Health District since one case was confirmed last Friday, leaving the tally of confirmed cases countywide at 152.

According to a Wednesday update from KPHD, a total of 4,073 residents have tested negative — of those tested, the positive test rate is about 4 percent.

Of the 152 cases, 43 have been reported in Bremerton, 39 in South Kitsap, 32 in North Kitsap, 27 in Central Kitsap and 11 on Bainbridge Island. Two deaths have been confirmed by Kitsap Public Health District as well.

The age breakdown for confirmed cases is as follows:

  • 0 – 19: 7
  • 20 – 29: 26
  • 30 – 39: 18
  • 40 – 49: 27
  • 50 – 59: 38
  • 60 – 69: 18
  • 70 – 79: 12
  • 80 and older: 6
