North Kitsap sweeps Kingston in boys tennis

The North Kitsap boys’ tennis team is starting to round into form as the Vikings (5-3) swept Kingston (0-9) 7-0 in a home match Oct. 7.

NK previously beat the Buccaneers 6-1 Sept. 16 at Kingston High School.

“We’re starting to win matches,” NK coach Jay DeVries said. “It’s a little more of a convincing win than when we were at the beginning of the season, so that’s what’s nice about playing these guys twice.”
