Last Friday, dispatchers received a call about a man with a machete chasing a female. The caller flagged officers down, noting the male ran westbound on Sheridan Road. The female told Bremerton police officers that he had swung at her and left two cuts on her shoulder, which were bleeding. The two have a child in common, but they had not been together for years, the woman reported to BPD.

The female said she saw the man at her house when she drove past, and not wanting to confront him, she stopped at the Sheridan Mini Mart. According to charging documents, the man swung at her when she got out of the car. He then opened the back door of the car and took her children’s PS3, their clothes and her clothes before running away. The female told authorities drugs were the reason he was “acting crazy.”

A K-9 unit could not locate the man.

Based on the victim’s statement and damage to the woman’s car and self, there was probable cause to arrest 30-year-old Randy Seau of Bremerton.
