Lone occupant escapes morning house fire in Silverdale

Fire Marshal is currently conducting an investigation into the cause of the fire

The lone occupant of a fully engulfed house fire escaped the scene early Wednesday morning in the 1000 block of Frontier Place NW in Silverdale. The occupant was able to flee thanks to a passerby who was taking his son to school, according to Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue.

CKFR and American Red Cross responded to the scene to help assist in extinguishing the fire. The Kitsap County Fire Marshal is currently conducting an investigation into the cause of the fire, according to CKFR.
