KINGSTON — The Kingston Citizens Advisory Council’s annual Community Open House is scheduled 6-8:30 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Village Green Community Center.

The open house provides residents, businesses, developers and other interested parties the opportunity to learn about community events and non-profit organizations; volunteer opportunities; and Kitsap County initiatives, planning and projects. Kitsap County Parks, Public Works and Community Development departments will participate alongside dozens of local non-profit organizations and public agencies.

The mission of KCAC is to develop and promote a sense of community vision and pride. Its members facilitate communication between the resident of Kingston and county government, bringing issues and providing feedback to and from the county. The Kingston Community Open House provides a venue to do this with many Kingston organizations and resident gathering to share information with their neighbors.
