KINGSTON — The Kingston Citizens Advisory Council will host a public discussion on Olympic Property Group’s Arborwood housing development from 7-8:30 p.m. Oct. 5 in the Village Green Community Center.

The meeting is open to the public.

When developed, Arborwood will be a community of 751 homes with 20,000 square feet of retail space on 360 acres. The Hearing Examiner recommended approval of the development agreement, subject to 79 conditions, in 2009. Logging began in late summer for portions of Arborwood.

The latest proposal, including timeline, scope and conservation areas, will be discussed and questions taken. More information on Arborwood, including a frequently-asked-questions sheet, the development agreement and Hearing Examiner’s decision are posted at www.kitsapgov.com/boards/CAC/kingston/kcac.htm.
