Kitsap County Sheriff’s deputies and the Kitsap County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the death of a man killed in a single vehicle collision Jan. 9 in South Kitsap.

Deputies responded to a 911 call in the 11100 block of Bowe Lane SE in unincorporated Port Orchard, per the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office. A vehicle was found crashed into a tree. The driver was declared deceased at the scene.

Initial evidence indicates the driver may have experienced a medical issue before the collision, per KCSO. The cause of death is under investigation by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
