Hood Canal Bridge reopens again after day of back-and-forth closures

Bridge most recently opened at 3:45 p.m.

After a back-and-forth of closures and openings all day due to high winds along the Hood Canal Bridge, the Washington State Department of Transportation announced at 3:45 p.m. that the bridge has reopened to traffic.

The bridge initially closed Tuesday morning due to high winds and was opened a few hours later, according to WSDOT. The second bridge closure of the day occurred at 2:24 p.m before being reopened just over an hour later.
