At the Fathoms O’ Fun Royalty Tea Jan. 31 at Harper Church, contestants presented their platforms and answered questions asked by the current Fathoms O’ Fun court.

This was the first judging event for the upcoming royal court competition. The 2016 Royalty Scholarship Pageant, “You’ve Got To Dream It To Be It,” will take place March 5 at the Christian Life Center in Port Orchard. The after-event party is sponsored by The Lighthouse Restaurant.

Contestants platforms included the energy crisis, the importance of knowing foreign languages and how sports teach important life lessons.
