Death of homeless man found to be not suspicious by Bremerton police

The body of the man was identified as Clayton O. Hansell. Next of kin has been notified.

BREMERTON — At 10:58 a.m. Bremerton police responded to reports of a deceased male in front of the Masonic Temple on 5th Avenue and Warren Avenue in Bremerton.

Patrol officers found the 61-year-old male lying on his back behind some nearby shrubs. Bremerton Police detectives and crime scene technicians responded to investigate as the scene was initially suspicious. The investigation found there appears to be no known danger to the public associated with this case.

The body of the man was identified as Clayton O. Hansell. According to a press release from Bremerton Police Department, Hansell’s next of kin has been notified.
