The following cases were filed in Kitsap County District Court.

The following cases were filed in Kitsap County District Court:

Domestic Violence/Assault with a Deadly Weapon: A Kitsap County woman was arrested on July 25 for assault with a deadly weapon against her partner. The defendant is a repeat offender, so if convicted, she could face life imprisonment without possibility of parole.

Domestic Violence: On July 22, a Kitsap County man attempted to strangle his domestic partner.

Special Allegation/Domestic Violence: In keeping with an apparent pattern, a 45-year-old Kitsap woman was charged with a special allegation of domestic violence when she attacked her partner and inflicted “serious bodily harm.”

Second-Degree Robbery: On July 22, a 30-year-old Kitsap man allegedly committed robbery and inflicted serious bodily harm on the unnamed victim.

Third-Degree Assault: On July 22 a Kitsap woman allegedly committed third-degree assault on a nurse in the middle of the health-care provider performing her duties.

Violation of a Court Protection Order: A 44-year-old Kitsap man was charged with violation of a protection order to stay away from his former partner.

Trafficking in Stolen Property: A 52-year-old Kitsap woman was charged with trafficking in stolen property in the first degree. The nature of the stolen items was not specified in the charging papers.

Trafficking in Stolen Property: A 40-year-old Kitsap woman was also charged with trafficking in stolen property in the first degree. There was no apparent connection between this case and the one listed above.

Violation of Court-Ordered No-Contact: A 20-year-old man was charged with violation of a no-contact order with his former domestic partner.

Theft in the Third Degree: A 27-year-old Kitsap man was charged with Theft in the Thurd Degree for stealing from a Safeway supermarket.

Malicious Mischief in the Third Degree (Gross Misdemeanor): A 31-year-old Kitsap woman was charged with malicious mischief for destroying the property of an acquaintance.
