The Central Kitsap Community Council will meet at 7 p.m. Dec. 18 to hear an update on the road projects in the Silverdale area.

The meeting will be at the Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue Administration Building, 5300 NW Newberry Hill Road, in Silverdale.

Officials from the Silverdale Water District and the Kitsap County Public Works department will be on hand to talk about road work in the area and to answer questions about various water and sewer line work and the Bucklin Hill Road bridge project.

The meeting is open to anyone in Kitsap County who has an interest in the central Kitsap area.
