Bayside Community Church will host Vacation Bible School for all children in grades kindergarten through sixth on July 14-18. Classes will start at 9:30 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. The theme for this summer’s program is “Son Force Kids: Special Agents on a Mission for God.” There will be Bible stories, arts and crafts, skits, games, songs and other fun and prizes.

Faith Episcopal

welcomes bishop

On Sunday, July 6, members of Faith Episcopal Church will welcome the Rt. Rev. Gregory H. Rickel, the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia. Bishop Rickel will officiate the 10 a.m. service at Faith, held in the VFW Hall, 26096 West First Street, Kingston.

Hansville church hosts cosmic school

The Hansville Community Church will explore the wonder of God July 14-18 during Vacation Bible School. Vacation Bible School takes place 9 a.m. to noon for children ages 5 to 11 who will visit the “tour stops” of Cosmic City. Activities include Bible dramas at “The Theater of the Galaxies,” hands-on science experiments at “Wonder U,” craft projects in the “Super Nova Supermart,” praise and memory songs at “Deeper Space” and snacks at “The Shooting Star Drive-in.” Children older than 11 can assist as adult volunteers.
