Barnett named CTE Student of Semester

PORT ORCHARD — South Kitsap High School senior Elena Barnett was recognized June 18 by the Rotary Club of South Kitsap as the Career & Technical Education Student of the Semester.
Barnett will be attending Boise State University this fall.
South Kitsap’s CTE program aims to prepare high school students to enter a highly competitive workforce with a background in 21st-century technology skills, technical knowledge and a real-world academic understanding, according to South Kitsap School District.
