26th District candidates to debate in Wednesday forum

Kitsap County Administration Building is the site of the 6 p.m. forum.

PORT ORCHARD — Candidates for seats serving the 26th Legislative District will participate on Wednesday, Oct. 3 in a League of Women Voters-Kitsap general election forum in Port Orchard.

The forum is set to begin at 6 p.m. in the Kitsap County Administration Building, 619 Division St.

Candidates running in the general election are Democrat Emily Randall and Republican Marty McClendon for the State Senate seat; Democrat Connie FitzPatrick and Republican Jesse L. Young for the State Representative Position 1 seat; and Michelle Caldier, a Republican, and Joy Stanford, a Democrat, for the State Representative Position 2 seat.
