Supports Hansen for state House

I support Drew Hansen to represent me in Washington state’s House of Representatives, 23 Legislative District.

I support Drew Hansen to represent me in Washington state’s House of Representatives, 23 Legislative District, for the following two reasons.

First, Drew has a proven history of supporting job creation and job training in my district on the Kitsap Peninsula. Drew has helped to secure funding, removed tax barriers and facilitated bipartisan support necessary to secure essential job training programs and jobs creation for veterans and other residents of Washington state.

Second, each election season the Hansville Community Center hosts a campaign forum. Our community organizes the event, provides a facility, and offers fresh pies as an incentive to draw interest and participation. We invite all candidates, asking only that each abide by a few simple rules designed to uphold the integrity and collegiality of the event.

James Olsen, Drew’s opponent, videotaped the event, edited a clip out of context and is using it for his campaign, which is directly in opposition to nature and purpose of our event.

I support Drew because actions speak louder than words. My vote for Drew is indicative of my belief that honesty, civility and integrity are the qualities that will ultimately lead to change.

I’ve known Rep. Hansen for a few years now and I appreciate his thoughtfulness and listening abilities before offering solutions. As a father and husband he is concerned for the quality of life on the peninsula and the need for environmental commonsense to keep this a wonderful place to live. His thoughts on education are at the forefront of his agenda and how to fund the paramount of the state. He has an incredible ability to listen, bringing in all parties and then have them or himself offer real solutions to the problems or concerns of his constituents. I hope you’ll join me in supporting Drew in his bid to represent us in the state house.
