Retain incumbent Supreme Court judges

Three of our state Supreme Court justices are up for reelection: Justices Barbara Madsen, Charlie Wiggins, and Mary Yu; our state will be best served if we reelect all three.

Do not be misled by claims that our Supreme Court is “too political.” Having served periodically as a substitute Supreme Court Justice, most recently a year ago, I can attest that is not the case. Justices Madsen, Wiggins, and Yu have no “agenda” other than to apply the law and constitutions thoughtfully to the facts of the cases before them and to resolve often complex issues, even when there are no clear cut answers. I am proud of our court and the integrity of these justices; and I am grateful that they are willing to serve.

Regardless of whether we agree or disagree with the outcomes of particular cases, we should vote to retain these outstanding Justices — Barbara Madsen, Charlie Wiggins, and Mary Yu. In addition to VotingForJudges.org, I urge you to the check their individual websites so you can evaluate them for yourself. Then, please exercise your right to vote. Thank you.
