Answer was a phone call away

In a recent letter to the editor Joan Gorner inquired as to who paid for Congressman Jay Inslee’s wife to attend the Copenhagen climate conference, and complained that she did not get an adequate response from his office. I thought this was a fair question, so I contacted Inslee and got a prompt reply. His wife flew on a military transport as there were empty seats available (this is common practice for spouses of congressional delegations) and paid for her own expenses. Mystery solved.
