The Greater Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce named a new board of directors and its annual award winners at a ceremony at Kiana Lodge Jan. 29 evening.

Newly appointed board members are Shawna Seals, Debra Allbee, Tom Taylor, Kathleen Haag, Nicole Robbins, Daniel Rutherford, Pam Whitt, Tammy Mattson and Debbie Nazarino. They join Linda Lincoln, Glenn Anderson, Stephen Komar and Todd Hankin.

Community Builder awards were given to Charlie DeWilde and Donna Strep. Bill Austin received the 2009 Beautifications and Renovations award.

Allison Morrison was announced as Ambassador of the Year while awards for Organization of the Year went to Poulsbo Noon Lions Club and Fishline.

The 2009 Pearce Dressel Volunteer of the Year Award was bestowed on Carly Michelson.

Kathi Forsee took home the “Person of the Year” award, the chamber’s highest honor. Forsee was described as “an outstanding individual who demonstrates exemplary leadership and commitment in both business and civic involvement.”
