Kitsap Kitchen & Bath is all-inclusive

POULSBO — Kitsap Kitchen & Bath Co. takes the worry out of home improvement. The Poulsbo-based company recently opened a showroom at 1016 NE Forest Rock Lane in Poulsbo, but it’s by no means a new business.

Co-owner James Collins has been in the Kitsap construction business for nearly 30 years and his handywork can be seen all throughout the county.

“I’ve probably built over 50 homes and more than 100 kitchens,” said Collins, who co-owns Kitsap Kitchen & Bath Co. with his wife, Gayle. They also own and operate Collins Homes Inc.

The showroom boasts a design and conference center and a large, flat-screen television that brings ideas to life.

The showroom is a space to show off their wares and to let the public interact with remodeling specialist Mark Thomas and design consultant Kelly LoPresto.

“With the location of our showroom being in a high-traffic area, we hope to have walk-in customers that didn’t previously know about us,” Collins said.

His business easily stands alone in the industry, he said, because they can take care of all the customers’ needs under one roof. As he is a general contractor, he has carpenters, plumbers and the like under his employ.

“We minimize out-sourcing by combining in-house project management, design carpentry, sheetrock and cabinet design, assembly, and installation with with the area’s best sub-contractors,” he said.

Because of Collin’s long-standing relationship with the contractors, Kitsap Kitchen& Bath Co. can stay within a budget, he said.
