Chamber plans autumn networking events

News from the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce.

The Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce Business Luncheon takes place Oct. 1 at the Kingston Cove Yacht Club, featuring guest speaker Tricia Hanley. Cost is $15 with an RSVP at (360) 297-3813 or $20 at the door. The Chamber After-Hours Event takes place 5-7 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Kingston Cove Yacht Club, sponsored by Tom Ogden of The Ogden Group. You needn’t be a chamber member to attend the after-hours events – please come and see what we’re all about!

Planning is underway for the 2009 Westsound Business EXPO, which takes place Feb. 19, 2009 at the Kitsap Pavilion. Please give this great opportunity some serious planning. The event last year attracted 150 businesses from all over Kitsap County and over 300 members of the public.

As the event gains momentum, it is becoming a very exciting place to be – as a business and as a consumer. The first two hours of the event will be a business-to-business opportunity to network and then the doors will open to the public. For more information about the Westsound Business EXPO, contact Linda Fyfe at the Kingston Chamber, or look for details in the e-mail announcement that we sent out Sept. 22.

Look for more information on our very first business open house, which will take place by invitation for businesses which are not currently members of the chamber. The purpose behind this special breakfast will be to introduce businesses to the many benefits of being a chamber member. Please drop in to see our great office space.
