Russ Perisho opens law practice

Russ Perisho, attorney and Poulsbo resident, has begun his own practice doing mediations, arbitrations and workplace investigations. Perisho previously was a partner with Perkins Coie, a national law firm with its largest office in Seattle. Lynn Williams recognized as Realtor of the year

The Kitsap County Association of Realtors recently honored Lynn Williams, Associate Broker of Reid Real Estate, as Realtor of the year. Williams, who has served as a professional Realtor for four decades, is the current president of the Association.

Other honors awarded were Jenks Beard Community Service to Jerry Reid (Reid Real Estate); Floyd Luckerath Realtor Spirit to Bryan Petro (Kitsap Commercial Group); Realtor Special Achievement to Ron Ross (Silverdale Realty); Affiliate of the Year to Jo Schaefer (Schaefer Callahan Hernandez Appraisal Group); and Citizen of the Year to Lary Coppola (mayor of Port Orchard).

President’s special awards honored Jean Bradford (John L. Scott, Inc.), Richard A. Brown (Kitsap Commercial Group) and Mike Eliason (Kitsap Association of Realtors executive officer).

The Association also installed officers and directors for 2009: President Lynn Williams, President-Elect Gary Anderson, Treasurer John Clark, Secretary Susan Troka, Immediate Past President Thor Holm, directors Gary Anderson, Richard Brown, Jon Byrd, Mary Cantu, Shaun Guerrero, Geri Jordan, Penny Hannifan, Heather Holmen, Jackie Killoran, Pablo Lozano, Dorothy Reincke, Jim Roberts, Ron Ross, Dale Rude, Barbara Ann Stier, Susan Troka, and Lynn Williams.

Olympic Wine Shop celebrates four years

Jeff Benson’s Olympic Wine Shop has just celebrated four years in business at its location next to Taprock Northwest Grill in the Poulsbo Village Shopping Center. The shop has a large selection of hard-to-find Washington wines, as well as wines from around the world. Monthly wine tastings are held the second Saturday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

Cup a Comfort Cafe open on Sundays
