A new networking group has been established in Kitsap County that targets the building industry.

A new networking group has been established in Kitsap County that targets the building industry.

Building Industry Network of Kitsap is a group of local business owners and industry professionals that works directly with or supports the building industry.

New members are now being accepted, but only one business segment/profession is allowed in the group. Current members include businesses in the following fields: floor and window coverings, crawl space encapsulation, kitchen cabinets, solid surface counter tops, banker, Realtor, construction house cleaning, tile cleaner, painter, employment services and an interior designer.

The Building Industry Network of Kitsap meets Thursday morning at All-Star Lanes in Silverdale.

Ashley Gardens

Several staff members from Ashley Gardens of Bremerton recently completed certification in dementia training.

Staff members Shelly Clayton, Nettie Haldeman, Nerissa Fuaso, Juvifel Tubio, Linda Sianquitta and Jane Varner completed training in October and staff members Whitney Farnham and April Lopez completed training in December. Both sessions were led by Janet Presley, Ashley Gardens’ life enrichment director.

Clayton also was named employee of the quarter. She has been a caregiver at the community for more than a year.
