Seattle-based 1st Security Bank recently named Brent Stenman senior vice president and branch manager of its Poulsbo branch. Stenman brings more than 19 years of experience in financial services and community involvement to 1st Security’s new Poulsbo office located in Olhava Village.

BRENT STENMAN NAMED BRANCH MANAGER FOR POULSBO’S 1st SECURITY BANK

Seattle-based 1st Security Bank recently named Brent Stenman senior vice president and branch manager of its Poulsbo branch. Stenman brings more than 19 years of experience in financial services and community involvement to 1st Security’s new Poulsbo office located in Olhava Village.

He fills the position currently held by Clay Williams, who will retire in October following nine years of service.

A Poulsbo native, Stenman began his banking career with Seafirst Bank in Seattle. He spent the majority of his banking career with North Sound Bank/Frontier Bank in Poulsbo. In 2004, he became senior vice president of Westsound Bank in Bremerton before making his move to 1st Security Bank.

He is involved in the North Kitsap community as a long time board member of North Kitsap Babe Ruth baseball and as the assistant state commissioner for Babe Ruth baseball. He is also involved as a member of the Kingston High School and the North Kitsap High School Athletic Booster Clubs and serves as an assistant varsity baseball coach at North Kitsap High School.

In 2001-02 Stenman was chosen as the Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce Person of the Year. He is a 1983 graduate of North Kitsap High and has a bachelor’s in business administration from Seattle University and a graduate degree from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.

Headquartered in Mountlake Terrace, 1st Security Bank of Washington has been serving Washington since 1936.
