An American in Paris: Prowse retires from real estate

Brenda Prowse, managing broker of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty on Bainbridge Island, has retired after 35 years as a real estate agent in the Poulsbo area.

POULSBO – Brenda Prowse, managing broker of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty on Bainbridge Island, has retired after 35 years as a real estate agent in the Poulsbo area.

Prowse and her husband, Hugh Nelson, have been living in Paris, France for the past two years, since she sold her real estate company, Prowse and Company, to Realogics Sotheby’s International.

Prowse operated Prowse and Company in Poulsbo for nearly 15 years. Before starting Prowse and Company, she worked as an agent for John L. Scott in Poulsbo for more than 17 years.

An announcement posted on her website Jan. 9 stated that Prowse “wants to thank her many friends and clients for their support and business over the years. If you want to find out about life in Paris, follow [her] blog at http://muchadoaboutparis.com.”
