No Kitsap Transit service Labor Day

If you depend on Kitsap Transit to get around, you’re out of luck on Labor Day.

Kitsap Transit reports it will not operate on Labor Day, Sept. 7. That includes the agency’s routed, ACCESS and worker/driver buses, as well as the Kitsap Transit Foot Ferry.

Because service is not operating Sept. 7, Kitsap Transit ACCESS will not take next-day reservations on Sept. 6. Reservations lines will be open Sept. 7 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for next-day trip reservations.

A glimmer of good news: because bus service is not operating, parking fees will not be collected at the Annapolis parking lot on Labor Day.
