PORT ORCHARD — Santa Claus and his helpers from the South Kitsap Fire and Rescue Volunteer Association once again will travel along the streets of South Kitsap as part of their annual Santa Run fun.

Santa and friends will be handing out candy canes and treats while collecting food items for the South Kitsap Helpline food bank and donations from well-wishers.

The merry band onboard a firefighting apparatus will make their first foray from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29 along Tremont Street from South Kitsap Boulevard to Sidney Street.

Santa makes his annual visit to the Port Orchard Chimes and Lights Festival’s City Hall tree-lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7. Earlier that day, SKFRVA will host “Breakfast with Santa” at Fire Station 8 headquarters.

Tuesday, Dec. 10, 6:30 p.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus at Olalla Elementary for story reading “T’was the Night Before Christmas”

Wednesday, Dec. 11, 6-8 p.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus at Albertsons, Onley Avenue

Wednesday, Dec. 18, 6-8 p.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus at Walmart

Friday, Dec. 20, 6-9 p.m., Chanting Circle and McCormick Meadows
