Driver crashes into Kitsap Transit building

A driver lost control of her vehicle, which hit a pole outside Kitsap Transit’s operations building June 16.

According to transit employees, the driver said she did not know what happened, only that she woke up to an airbag in her face.

She was transported to the hospital by Bremerton Fire Department.

Police on the scene said they had no details at the time as to what may have caused the driver to lose control.
