Gift of Life Auction at Gold Mountain

Gold Mountain Golf Club will host a Gift of Life Celebration and Auction on May 3, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.,with the proceeds benefiting the Northwest Kidney Transplant Fund in honor of John Rosebeary.

A few auction items include autographed rodeo items, autographed Seahawks items, hand-blown glass cowboy hat, a vintage gas pump and more.

For years, Rosebeary battled end-stage renal disease and for three years he was on dialysis three days per week for five hours a day. Finally, a friend offered to be John’s donor and he successfully received his transplant in January 2014.

Rosebeary has many uninsured transplant-related expenses such as co-pays and deductibles, doctor visits and the costly medications that he will need  for the rest of his life. Working with the nonprofit HelpHOPELive, Rosebeary is raising funds to cover these uninsured medical costs associated with the transplant.
