SILVERDALE – Motorists using NW Bucklin Hill Road in Silverdale can expect delays between Silverdale Plaza and Tracyton Boulevard NW beginning Tuesday, March 10. Puget Sound Energy crews are installing utility transmission poles in preparation of the upcoming Bucklin Hill Bridge project. No interruption of service is expected for PSE customers.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane in the immediate vicinity of the work. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work area. Delays of five to 15 minutes are expected. Use an alternate route to avoid delays. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. The work continues through mid-April. Once the poles are installed there will be further intermittent closures through the middle of May as PSE works on the distribution system.

This follows work done last month and is work to prepare for the bridge project. Bucklin Hill Road NW will close July 1 and remain closed for at least a year to build a bridge to replace the existing culverts in place there. To learn more about the bridge project go to www.bucklinhill.com.
