Buccaneers conquer Vikings in last league game

The Kingston Buccaneers ended the regular season with a victory over the North Kitsap Vikings on Oct. 29.

The game was the last game the teams would play in the Olympic League this year, ending 47-21.

The Pillage and Plunder Bowl – the nickname for the matchup – put the Bucs at a 6-3 overall record and a 5-2 league record. The Viking’s season ended with a record of 1-8 overall and 1-6 in the league.

The Bucs will play their first 2A playoff game against Lindbergh High School at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Renton Memorial Stadium, 406 N Logan, Seattle.

The Vikings will play a crossover game against an opponent from the South Puget Sound League next Friday starting at 7 p.m. at the North Kitsap Stadium.
