OC is tops in helping
military families
Olympic College was recently recognized for helping meet the educational needs of military members and their families. Military Advanced Education, a quarterly publication with a focus on higher education for the military, ranked OC as one of the top 30 schools nationwide for service members.
“These are schools that are significant players in military education, whether for number of military contracts, number of military students served, availability of financial aid and scholarships, or other military-friendly qualities,” MAE stated in a prepared release.
In addition, OC has been named as a Navy Distance Learning Partner in recognition of OC’s efforts to help military members reach their educational and career goals through distance learning formats. OC offers courses online and by USB drive and has been developing two-year degrees that grant credit to military members for their training and experience.
