Volleyball camps coming to NKHS
North Kitsap High School will host two volleyball camps July 28-31 at the NKHS main gym. A camp for girls entering grades 5-8 will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, and a camp for girls entering grades 9-12 will be held from 12:30-3:30 p.m. each day. Cost is $80 per camper, and $50 per additional sibling for families with multiple campers. Checks should be made payable to NKHS Athletic Boosters. North Kitsap Pee Wees is taking registrations for fall flag and youth football, as well as youth cheerleading. Flag football is open to players aged 5-6, and youth football is for all kids aged 7-14. The cheerleading program is open to girls and boys aged 5-14. Cost is $120 for youth football, $70 for flag football and $65 for cheerleading. NK Chaos win tournament
The NK Chaos girls U16 select soccer team, from the North Kitsap Soccer club, took first place in their division at the Tumwater Kick in the Grass tournament July 17-19. The team finished with three wins and one tie.
