Sara Hysong-Shimazu of Poulsbo was named to the dean’s list at Rocky Mountain College.

Seattle Pacific University

The following students made the Seattle Pacific University 2007 autumn quarter dean’s list:

Kingston – Stephanie Jeanne Barrett.

Poulsbo – Megan Nicole Brose, Evan Robert Egerer, Katherine Cecilie Fossum, Tracy Lynn Hemry and Kathryn Olivia Parker.

Indianola – Brigitta Emilene-Theresa Rauen and Lindsey Marie Sprague.

Washington State University

Chelsie Pruiett, a sophomore at Washington State University, was named to the president’s list. The engineering student is the daughter of Melanie Pruiett of Kingston. She is a 2006 graduate of North Kitsap High.

NK student receives EWU scholarship

Sara Barrett of Poulsbo has been awarded a Academic Honors Scholarship for $3,000 for the 2008-2009 academic year. This scholarship is awarded to students with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.8

or higher or a SAT score of 1250 or higher.

Barrett’s parents are Melissa and Joe Barrett of Poulsbo.

Forum will discuss Indian education

The North Kitsap School District will host a public hearing to review Indian Education 4 p.m. April 15 in the Kingston Middle staff lounge.
