PORT ORCHARD — In typical leisurely Manchester fashion, the Manchester Festival and Flea Market on Saturday featured a laidback assortment of crafts and food items open for view under the shade of a dozen or so white tents.

Not that tents were required at the quaint festival for a day with blue skies and puffy clouds intermixed above. Temperatures were in the mid-70s, making for comfortable strolling weather for visitors noodling through the eclectic collection of offerings.

With John Mellencamp tunes played by a group of musicians under one of the tents, festival-goers at Stormwater Park had plenty to see and do — including stopping by the annual Manchester Library book sale across the street from the event.
