The Kitsap Humane Society is staging its “Howl-O-Ween Adoption Extravaganza” on Thursday, Oct. 31, when all pet adoption fees will be discounted.

The event and discounts will take place from noon until 5:30 p.m. All new adoption applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. at the agency’s headquarters at 9167 Dickey Road NW in Silverdale.

Adoption fees for adult cats ages 1 year and older will be 50 percent off the regular cost. All other adoption fees will be $25 off the usual cost.

This special Halloween event and offering will also take place at the agency’s off-site adoption center at the Silverdale Petsmart on 9589 Ridgetop Blvd. Adoptions at that location are available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
