SUQUAMISH — A community cleanup in Suquamish is planned, just in time for Earth Day on Saturday, April 21.
Volunteers are needed to join the Suquamish Citizens Advisory Committee for their annual cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers of all ages will gather at the Suquamish United Church of Christ on Saturday morning. There is no need to bring cleanup tools, since supplies will be provided.
Organizers said the cleanup is a good volunteer opportunity for Scouts and high schoolers looking to earn some community service hours. For more information, contact Kitsap County Volunteer Services at 360-337-4650 or email Rebecca Pirtle at rpirtle@co.kitsap.wa.us.
Suquamish United Church of Christ is at 18732 Division Avenue NE.
